Call for people showing signs of ADHD to be offered support before diagnosis

This is a wake-up call for every employer.

A recommendation from the NHS England Independent ADHD Taskforce Report, published on 20 June 2025, calls for people showing signs of ADHD to be offered support before getting a formal diagnosis. That includes things like access to quiet rooms, flexible working, or coaching-style support.

You can read the full interim report here:

The report highlights a system overwhelmed, under-resourced, and for too many, inaccessible.

But here’s the truth: while diagnosis pathways are stretched, people are still showing up to work every day struggling to cope, masking their challenges, or burning out completely.  If you are lucky enough to have an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), more often than not, the support services are designed around 'neurotypical' norms: offering therapies, tools, and models that reflect how some brains process the world. But what about those who are still figuring things out? Those who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or simply ‘different’, but don’t meet a neat clinical box? At Reframe Inclusion, we believe support should never be one-size-fits-all. We are proud to be 100% neuroinclusive. Our strengths-led coaching meets people where they are - whatever their neurotype or background - supporting wellbeing, performance, and confidence. Because every mind deserves to be supported, not just accommodated. But we don't stop there. We also equip your organisation with the tools, guidance, and inclusive strategies to ensure those individuals - and your business - are set up to thrive.

✔ Strengths-led coaching for individuals: reduce burnout, improve confidence, and unlock potential.

✔ Manager and leadership support: practical, real-world strategies to set clear expectations, implement adjustments, and build inclusive teams.

✔ Tailored, neuroinclusive approaches: meet your legal obligations and create cultures where diverse minds perform at their best.

The result? Reduced absence, stronger retention, and a workplace where everyone can bring their best, not hide their difference. Let’s reframe what’s possible. Because thriving employees drive thriving businesses.
